Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says the next major release of watchOS will bring notable innovations. With the watchOS 10 update, the interface of Apple Watches, which has not changed for years, can be renewed.
Expectations are high for watchOS 10
The design of watchOS hasn't changed much in recent years. The last few releases have brought recurring improvements with features like activity tracking, a few new watch faces. However, Apple is expected to have a comprehensive update this year, including changes to the UI of watchOS 10. Unlike iOS 17, we can see a completely renewed interface.
When will watchOS 10 be introduced?
watchOS 10 will be officially unveiled at the Apple WWDC event starting June 5th . Apple is also expected to unveil its first mixed reality glasses, although not at WWDC. Meanwhile, the first Apple Watch model with a micro LED display is expected to arrive next year.
