The new theme customization will enable users to select different colors such as blue, pink, and white. In addition to the main theme, this feature can be used to customize the colors of message bubbles, allowing users to create fully personalized themes within the app.
On another note, WhatsApp is making changes to backups as of 2024. Android users will no longer consume Google Drive space for backups. The company had previously announced that backups would be moved to Drive starting last month. While theme customization is still in the development stage and currently available to beta testers, it's unclear when these personalization options will be rolled out in stable versions for both Android and iOS."
