The CIRP (Consumer Intelligence Research Partners) report revealed that black or white tones are no longer preferred among iPhone users.
Users favorite color: Purple
The most preferred color among 2023 iPhones was purple.iPhone 14 Pro42% of users bought purple, 24% bought gold, 23% bought space black and 11% bought silver. For iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, users' favorite colors were blue (27%), midnight (26%), purple (22%), red (14%), starlight (12%).
Black and white iPhones are not preferred much
Looking at the older models, it is seen that users prefer the space black color more. We first saw the purple iPhone in the iPhone 11 model. The purple color option came later on the iPhone 12. Purple was expected among the iPhone 13 colors as well, but Apple skipped it and added purple again in the iPhone 14 series. Purple/deep purple now sells for more.
Apple, iPhone 14aggressively marketed purple for its series. Even when there was a stock problem on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models at one time, the color that could be found mostly was purple.
