After the pandemic and chip crisis that affected the world came to an end, there is a significant change in the smartphone market. At this point, while Apple maintains its own line, we see a transition to foldable models on the Android front. Now, Counterpoint Research, one of the leading research and analysis companies, has announced the best-selling smartphone models in 2022 .

The list shared by Counterpoint Research shows that Apple and iPhone series lead the best-selling phones in 2022 . According to the list, the iPhone 13 , released in 2021 , took the top spot with 5 percent of total sales and 28 percent of all iPhone sales. The other two models that followed the iPhone 13 were the iPhone 13 Pro Max (2.6%) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max (1.7%).

Samsung , which entered the list with the affordable Galaxy A13 (1.6%) , left many iPhone and Android competitors behind and took the fourth place. For those who don't know, the best selling phone of 2021 was the Samsung Galaxy A12 . It looks like the South Korean giant will continue to dominate budget phones.

The fifth and sixth places in total sales are iPhone 13 Pro (1.6%) and iPhone 12 (1.5%). Other models in the rest of the list were iPhone 14 (1.4%), iPhone 14 Pro (1.2%), iPhone SE 2022 (1.1%) and Samsung Galaxy A03 (1.1%), respectively.
