Apple recently unveiled its first OLED-equipped tablet, the iPad Pro, boasting superior display quality. However, a subset of users is encountering issues with the screen panel, dampening the excitement surrounding the device's release.

Reports on Reddit indicate that some users are experiencing screen grenading issues with their 2024 iPad Pro models, prompting them to share images of the affected screens. Apple employs a panel with two OLED layers, referred to as "tandem," in the new iPad Pro. The problem may stem from misalignment between these two layers, leading to the observed anomalies.

Additionally, some users speculate that inconsistencies in color and brightness among pixels, resulting in what is known as the "mura effect," could be due to production issues. This issue bears resemblance to the screen problem reported by some Galaxy S24 Ultra users earlier this year. Initially dismissed by Samsung as a feature rather than a flaw, the company eventually released a corrective update.

As of now, the extent of the problem's impact on iPad users and whether it can be rectified through software remains uncertain. Apple is yet to address the issue officially, leaving affected users eagerly awaiting a resolution.
