Apple is also preparing to mass-produce MacBooks with OLED panels beginning some time in 2026. The MacBook is Apple’s flagship laptop, with sales of US$7.3 billion in the first quarter. Many experts expect the OLED panel size to be 14 inches and 16 inches wider than the iPad."

In other supply chain news, DigiTimes is reporting that Apple has procured 100% of the initial N3 supply, which is said to have a high yield, despite the higher costs involved and the decline in the foundry's utilization rate in the first half of 2023. Apple's iPhone 15 Pro is likely to adopt TSMC's new 3nm processor.

Speculation for 3nm powered MacBooks is high, though rumors are all over the map at present as to which model will be the first to adopt 3nm.
