This king-sized update replaces the smaller "Mini" phones that have now been ditched in favour of offering customers a larger screen.
In fact, the new iPhone 14 Plus features a giant 6.7-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with Apple promising that this screen will offer users a bright, rich and fully immersive experience.
Until now, if you wanted a bigger display you would have needed to switch to a more expensive Pro Max model but that's no longer the case.
Along with that bigger panel, there's another reason to consider buying the Plus version with Apple boasting that it features the longest battery life of any iPhone.
We will have to wait for the full reviews before this claim is confirmed but it should mean the Plus model lasts well into a second day without going near a charger.
Of course, just like the new iPhone 14, the Plus gets plenty of other bonus features including a new Crash Detection which will automatically call the emergency services after a car accident. Location data and any medical notes will also be sent to paramedics.
Along with that life-saving upgrade, there's also a boost to the cameras with these latest devices able to snap better photos in low light and shoot silky smooth video thanks to a new Action mode which stops shaky footage.
The front-facing TrueDepth camera also gets autofocus for the first time and selfies are boosted further thanks to improved low light capabilities.
Although the iPhone 14 gets the same A15 Bionic processor as last year, things have been beefed up thanks to an extra GPU core being freed up which means faster graphics than before.
This device also gets all the usual features including wireless MagSafe charging, Face ID screen unlocking and Ceramic Sheild glass plus there's now the option to send texts even when there's no mobile signal thanks to satellite technology.
