US-based technology giant Apple made important statements last night. In the statements made, it would bring end-to-end encryption features to many applications offered to the iOS ecosystem. Thus, the iOS ecosystem would be much safer than ever before.
New news reveals that end-to-end encryption will not be the only innovation for the iOS ecosystem.
SPECIALLY DEVELOPED FOR CRITICAL PROFESSIONAL GROUPS
According to the details in the news of Webtekno , Apple also announced that it has developed a new feature for the messaging application iMessage.
This feature, called "iMessage Contact Key Verification", is not for ordinary users. With this feature, the company will focus on users who do critical work such as journalists, activists or government officials . By activating iMessage Contact Key Authentication, a user will be able to make sure that their phone has been tapped or whether their messages have been leaked by a cyberattack.
A user who activates the security layer called iMessage Contact Key Authentication will be able to see a new warning at the bottom of the chat page in iMessage. When this alert is seen, alarm bells will be ringing for that person. Because Apple, in the aforementioned warning, it will be reported that the account of the person on the other side is connected to an unrecognized device. This will mean that the user is either talking to someone else or is being listened to.
