iOS 16.5 installers face an annoying bug

Apple recently released the iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 update. However, those who use Apple's USB 3 Camera Adapter are facing a problem. This adapter  has a USB-A port for connecting a camera, microphone or other USB powered accessory to iPhone and iPad . It also includes a Lightning port for charging iPhone and iPad .
Doesn't work for users who installed the new update
After the iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 update, affected users report that the adapter no longer powers any device connected to either port.
The issue is most likely caused by a software bug that should be addressed in a future iOS release. However, the underlying cause of this problem is unknown. Apple has released the first beta version of iOS 16.6 to developers, but the update is probably weeks away. Because if the company wants to fix the error sooner, an iOS 16.5.1 update may be required.
