Apple recently released iOS 16.2,   iOS 15.7.2, macOS Ventura 13.1, tvOS 16.2 , watchOS 9.2, macOS Monterey 12.6.2 and macOS Big Sur 11.7.2 updates for iPhones that haven't upgraded to iOS 16 . The company continues to update the versions it introduced at WWDC22 and made available months later, but it still cannot solve many problems, especially on the iOS side. Many users ( including iPhone 14 Pro Max owners ) are still experiencing annoying problems in the version, such as camera freezes, suddenly popping keyboard sound, and keyboard slowing down in some cases . App crashare among those who frequently voice their problems, especially on Twitter. In terms of battery life, the operating system, which has been observed to lose performance after new versions, also creates some interface problems and shows random reboot problems on some people's iPhones. The YouTuber behind The Tech Chap channel, who shared the following on Twitter on this subject , states that the iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 16.2 is the most software problematic iPhone he has used for a long time. In recent years, when Apple has moved away from the old stable structure on the software side, it has been on the agenda frequently, although there are no excessive new features, the worsening of the situation does not look good for the company . Apple definitely needs a restructuring in this regard.

Apple is currently actively working on iOS 16.3 . As we learned from the latest beta for the operating system, the new feature that draws attention in the upcoming new version is the added support for physical security keys with FIDO certificate . The company states the following about this feature, which was introduced to make Apple ID identities more secure : “FIDO Certified security keys are third-party hardware that you can use to verify your identity when you log in. Physical security keys provide strong protection against phishing and unauthorized access to your account. A physical security key replaces verification codes sent to your devices when signing in or resetting your password.”  The physical security key support added to the iPadOS 16.3 and macOS Ventura 13.2 betas alongside iOS , of course, requires the purchase of special hardware . This security infrastructure does not appeal to everyone in general, but it is a strong alternative for those who want high security and provides extra protection. The fact that this feature was on the way was first given with the important iCloud security update, the details of which are included in the news below .
