Technology giant Apple offered users the iOS 16 update this year. While the iOS 16 update, which is offered to users with new features and improvements, attracts attention, some users are looking for answers to the question of which devices will receive iOS 16. Apple shared iPhone models compatible with iOS 16 from its official website.
According to the information shared by Apple; iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone SE (2nd generation and 3rd generation) models will be able to receive the iOS 16 update.
Users can update their devices using 'Settings > General > Software Update' for iOS 16 update.
IOS 16.2 UPDATE IS COMING
While Apple continues to develop iOS 16, it recently shared the iOS 16.1. In December, the iOS 16.2 update is planned to be shared.
With the iOS 16.2 update, Freeform, or "Freeform" feature, will come to iPhones. With this feature, users will be able to add notes and text boxes on a white area, draw any shape or move photos, videos, links, PDF files. It will be possible to use this feature together with friends and family over FaceTime and iMesagge. Again, the widget feature will come with the update.
