Google has started distributing the new version of the Google for iOS app for Apple devices. With the 303.3 update, the most important innovation is the opening of Gemini artificial intelligence to Apple users. Gemini will replace the assistant app.
On top of the recent remarkable success of artificial intelligence, Google quickly started distributing Gemini artificial intelligence. While the AI's own Android application is becoming available in more and more countries every day, an alternative has now been produced for iOS users.
iPhone users will be able to access Gemini by using the top right button in the Google app on their device. A single button press will be enough. When this feature is activated, the Google app will change accordingly. A field for entering commands will appear at the bottom of the screen. It will be possible to use Gemini by typing, speaking or sharing an image. The camera can also be used as another interaction tool. The Gemini AI will not directly read the answers it generates out loud, but will voice the text when you press the speaker icon.
Due to the presence of Apple's own artificial intelligence assistant Siri, Gemini will not be available for assistance on every screen like the Android version. This feature will be limited to Android devices. With Apple's updates in future versions, it will be possible to use help on every screen with Siri.
