Apple Watch Ultra's siren feature compared to a whistle

Aiming at consumers who do sports in harsh conditions, Apple Watch Ultra has managed to attract attention in the smart watch market with its 86 decibel siren feature , as well as features such as high-level durability, fall detection, and ECG  . Now, The Verge has compared the device's acclaimed siren feature to a $4 whistle . 
Makes twice as much noise as the Apple Watch Ultra
In tests carried out in a forest area, The Verge stated that the siren on the Apple Watch Ultra  can not be heard from 198 meters away , while the $4 whistle can be heard slightly from 403 meters away . However, in the announcement of the device, Apple announced that the range of the siren is limited to 180 meters . Based on this information, we can say that the results are not surprising. 
It's also worth noting that with GPS enabled, the Apple Watch Ultra isn't rated to last for days. Apple says the smartwatch can last up to 36 hours depending on usage. For this reason, we can say that the test carried out shows the importance of having security tools for difficult conditions, even though the smart watch has many outstanding features.
