Apple Reveals First Malaysian Store Ahead of Grand Opening
Apple enthusiasts in Malaysia have a reason to celebrate as the tech giant prepares to open its first store in the country. Located in Kuala Lumpur's prestigious Tun Razak Exchange business district, Apple The Exchange TRX will welcome customers starting Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Architectural Marvel
The new store spans three levels, capped with a layered roof around a central glazed oculus, allowing natural daylight to flood the interior. It also features a rooftop park that wraps around the store and a floating deck connecting to the mall, offering a unique shopping experience.
Exciting Announcement
"We live for moments when we can surprise and delight our customers," said Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's senior vice president of Retail. "We're excited to do that in Malaysia with the opening of our first store in the country, Apple The Exchange TRX."
O'Brien emphasized the importance of connecting with new communities, stating, "Being able to support and directly connect with a new community is always a special experience for our retail teams, and we can't wait to welcome customers to this beautiful space designed for discovery, creativity, and shopping for the world's most innovative products."
Today at Apple Sessions
To celebrate the opening, Apple has announced a series of Today at Apple sessions featuring performances by some of Malaysia's most celebrated creators. These events will take place on the floating deck connected to the mall, providing a platform for creativity and learning.
