According to multiple Reddit users, Apple Music users on iOS discovered a pretty serious bug that was causing other people's playlists and songs to appear in their library. As 9to5Mac reports, some users have complained that their playlists have completely disappeared or been replaced by others. The issue appears to be limited to the iOS Apple Music app and could be due to an iCloud issue syncing incorrect data between users. Some have stated that disabling iCloud sync and then re-enabling fixed the issue. This setting can be found in Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Show All.
Apple has had similar iCloud sync issues in the past. Shortly after the iPhone 13 was released, some users lost access to their Apple Music libraries if they transferred their data from another phone. Last year, Windows iCloud users complained of corrupted videos and images from other users appearing in their Photo Libraries. Apple has not yet commented on the latest issue, but it is expected to be resolved shortly. It can be said that the problem experienced by the company is not experienced in other applications at the moment, but only in the Apple Music application. The problem that causes users' libraries to get into each other continues to be reported by more users. If there is a problem on the Cloud side, the company will try to find a solution as soon as possible.
