Apple has not used the 'illuminated Apple logo' design for MacBook Pro models since 2016. On the Air side, the illuminated Apple logo, which we saw in the latest 2017 model, was predicted to return with the new MacBook models.
APPLE WILL USE A DIFFERENT SYSTEM IN ITS NEW LOGO
The reason for the predictions in question is a patent obtained directly by Apple. Revealing the patent the company received , PatentlyApple stated that it announced its use as 'backlit/reflective and mirrored electronic device' .
In the patents obtained, it was announced that the new system would not be the same as the method used to illuminate the logo on old MacBooks, but in a different way. As he says in the details, there is talk of a 'reflective structure' that will allow the light to shine through the logo.
While the mirror structure will give a bright appearance to the logo or other structure system, the internal parts will be prevented from being seen. At the same time, the partial transparency of the mirror will allow the backlight illumination from inside the device to be reflected from the mirror.
