Background

In 2021, Apple made a significant investment in its Racial Equity and Justice Initiative (REIU), which included the creation of the Propel Center and a $5 million award to four HBCUs. The Propel Center, established with Apple's support, is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for students from historically marginalized communities.
