For this week, Mark Gurman looks back at the rest of the 2022 product releases, starting with a new revamped iPad Pro with an M2 processor , which has been confirmed by other US media. It would be available in two versions, 11 inches with an LCD screen and 12.9 inches with a miniLED screen , both being MagSafe compatible.. This iPad Pro 2022 should benefit from better autonomy as well as new accessories.
To this may be added the iPad 10, at the other end of the price range! This would be the most important update of this tablet, codenamed J272. It could be equipped with an A14 Bionic chip and a Retina display, like the iPad Air, which would be slightly larger, increasing to 10.5 or 10.9 inches.
It would be the first (entry-level) iPad to be equipped with a USB-C port instead of Lightning (to anticipate the European reform of spring 2023 which imposes this standard on all laptops, smartphones or even tablets). USB-C would also make it easier to connect to external displays .
