After extensive testing by developers, Apple has launched visionOS 1.1, making it accessible to all users of the company's innovative headset. This update journey began with the first beta, introducing features like mobile device management (MDM) compatibility, Contact Key verification, and alterations to Passcodes. Enhancements in the StoreKit, SwiftUI, and critical bug resolutions, including those from the initial beta, were prominent in the second beta.

The focus of the third beta was predominantly on rectifying bugs, notably within the user interface and a particular Siri functionality issue. Detailed release notes highlighted an extensive list of fixes and ongoing problems. Significant improvements were made in persona generation and appearance, with a potential prompt for persona regeneration. EyeSight graphics enhancements and the newfound ability to remove most of Apple's pre-installed apps were also notable updates.

The release candidate was marked with build number 21O2019, while the final release was assigned build number 21O211. Although a registered Apple developer account is needed to access the beta versions of visionOS, it's available for free, offering broad accessibility. Installation on the Apple Vision Pro hardware is designed to be seamless.
