As noted below, Cook had a lively conversation with DiCaprio at a black-tie dinner, both in tuxedos, with DiCaprio also wearing sunglasses.

Killers of the Flower Moon is based on David Grann's best-selling book about a series of murders against the Osage Nation in Oklahoma, USA in the 1920s. At that time, the Osage tribe became rich because of the discovery of oil, but it also attracted greed and evil. DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro also star in the film.

Killers of the Flower Moon is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release, with a limited release on October 6 and a larger release on October 20. After that, the film will be available for streaming on Apple TV+.

IT Home noticed that the current rotten tomato freshness of "Flower Moon Killer" is 96%, and the overall Metacritic score is 91/100. Some film critics said that this film is the best Martin Scorsese work after "The Wolf of Wall Street", "Little Plum" Leonardo DiCaprio's career best performance, Lily Gladstone is One of the most outstanding female characters in Martin Sr.'s work.

Deadline has a report on Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone Conquering Cannes With 9-Minute Standing Ovation for ‘Killers of the Flower Moon.’

And of course, De Niro, which at times is a decent actor, went on his usual tirade against former President Donald Trump. He's in Cannes to promote "Killers of the Flower Moon,"  not to spew out his personal politics and sour some against this film. I guess with the spotlight going to DiCaprio, De Niro had to do something dramatic to get some attention at Cannes. Too bad.
