THE CRASH DETECTION APP CONFUSES APPLE WITH THE CRASH DETECTION FUNCTION.
After the iPhone 14 went on sale, the 911 call center near Kings Island had a high number of calls saying: “Let’s talk about it now that the owner of the iPhone had to stop the car accident. “The owner was in a serious car accident.
Since the release of the new iPhone 14 series and the iOS 16 operating system, news has emerged about some bugs that affect Apple equipment. For example, the case where the new 14 series terminals shook, for no apparent reason, when recording videos in third-party apps such as Instagram and TikTok, was resolved with a new update.
But there are sometimes odd stories. According to some reports on Twitter, a bug is affecting the new Crash Detection feature, and caused the feature to confuse crash with fun.
The bizarre story is told by Joanna Stern of the Wall Street Journal, who reports that emergency services have been contacted several times to get into an amusement park. All because the function is unexpectedly activated on roller coasters!
According to Joanna Stern, the resource contacts the authorities with the message “Hi, the owner of this iPhone has been in a serious accident” and not answering the phone. Latitude 39.3411, Longitude -84.2689 is the fastest time, in a distance that is estimated to search six meters. The message will be repeated within five seconds.
Now, when the emergency authorities arrived, the owner of the iPhone is good and enjoys her life on a roller coaster.

For now, Apple hasn’t released an update to make Crash Detection recognize a ride on a roller coaster, but there are three temporary solutions to avoid contacting emergency police.
One, but not one, is to leave any Apple equipment that has that feature in mind when an opportunity for a roller coaster ride arises. We realize that this solution is going to be very difficult to use, especially when the only one that has a smartphone is an iPhone.
The second option is to activate the airplane mode by turning in the front and pushing the mouse on the right side of the screen, to allow access to the control center. When airplane mode is activated, all radio frequencies will be turned off and the accident detection function is disabled.
