. Easier deletion of contacts
Clearing the contact list on iPhone has always been a complicated process for the user. But with iOS 16 , this challenge has been eased.
After updating to iOS 16 , go to your Contacts app and press and hold a contact you want to remove. A drop-down menu will appear and you will see a Delete Contact button at the bottom of the menu .
2. Add Quick Notes to Control Center
Quick Notes is one of the least rated features of iOS 16 . If you take a lot of notes but hate having to open the Notes app every time, just add a Quick Note to Control Center.
You can do this by going to Settings > Control Center and tapping the plus button next to Quick Note . When you're done, you'll see a new button in the Control Center that looks like doodles in a notebook. Tap on it to take notes from anywhere.
3. Open links with selected apps in Messages
Typically, when you tap a link in Messages, your iPhone will automatically open the link in the correct app.
But in iOS 16 , you can choose which apps you want to open some non-rich links. If you long-press on a non-rich URL in Messages, you'll occasionally see multiple app names. Then you can decide which app you want the link to open.
