US-based technology giant Apple introduced the iOS 16 update with the iPhone 14 series in September last year.

The company is now working on iOS 17, which is expected to be released with new iPhones next September.

Apple will introduce iOS 17 at the WWDC developers conference next June.

Apple's fee decision

Allegedly, Apple will demand money from users who want to try new features with iOS 17 before anyone else.

iOS beta updates are shutting down

With iOS 17, it is said that Apple will close beta profiles to the outside. In short, only those who sign up for the Developer Program for $99 per year will be able to download and install beta profiles.

Any user who does not sign up for the Developer Program will not be able to upload beta versions through their developer profile.

Apple has already taken legal action against websites offering free iOS beta profiles and has many of them shut down.
