The Weeknd’s “Open Hearts” Debuts Exclusively on Apple Vision Pro

Apple has officially launched The Weeknd: Open Hearts, an immersive music experience exclusively available on its latest augmented reality headset, Apple Vision Pro. Directed by Anton Tammi, the experience transports viewers into a dream-like journey through a reimagined downtown Los Angeles, blending The Weeknd's music with stunning visuals.

A New Era of Music Experiences

"Apple Immersive Video brings The Weeknd's creative vision to life in an entirely new way with Open Hearts, a groundbreaking music experience available only on Apple Vision Pro," said Tor Myhren, Apple's VP of Marketing Communications. Leveraging Vision Pro's immersive visuals and Spatial Audio, fans are brought right into the action, making them feel like they're walking alongside The Weeknd through the surreal cityscape.

Fans eager to experience Open Hearts can book a demo starting on November 15 at Apple Stores. The experience will also be accessible for free via the Apple TV app on Vision Pro.

New Concert Series: “Concert for One”

Following the release of Open Hearts, Apple will debut a new music experience called Concert for One on November 22. This series kicks off with an intimate performance by BRIT Award-winning artist RAYE, recorded at London’s Air Studios alongside her 20-piece band. Blending genres like R&B, jazz, and pop, this performance will be available as a Spatial Audio EP exclusively on Apple Music, allowing fans to enjoy every detail in high-quality sound.

Global Availability

Apple Vision Pro is already available in several regions, including the U.S., U.K., Australia, and Germany. Starting November 15, it will also be accessible in South Korea and the UAE. For users in mainland China, select Apple Immersive Video titles, including Open Hearts, will be accessible through the Migu Video and Tencent Video apps.

Apple’s move into immersive experiences with Vision Pro marks a significant step in redefining how fans engage with music. With more titles and series expected to be added to the Apple Immersive Video library, users can look forward to even more groundbreaking content.
