Shazam has just rolled out an exciting new feature for iPhone users with iOS 18: support for Music Haptics. This accessibility feature, introduced alongside Apple's latest operating system, enhances the music experience by making your iPhone vibrate in sync with the music's rhythm and intensity. It taps into the powerful Taptic Engine, turning sound into a tactile experience.

Music Haptics is already compatible with Apple Music and Apple Music Classical, and Shazam is the latest app to join the list. Whether you're using Shazam to discover a song or just enjoying your playlist, you can now literally "feel" the music.

How to Enable Music Haptics on iOS 18:

Open Settings on your iPhone. Tap Accessibility. Scroll down to the Hearing section and select Music Haptics. Toggle Music Haptics on.

Shazam, acquired by Apple in 2018 for $400 million, is deeply integrated into Apple's ecosystem. Even without installing the app, users can still access Shazam via Siri or Control Center to quickly identify any song playing nearby.

With this new update, music lovers can enjoy an even more immersive experience, using both sound and touch to connect with their favorite tracks.
