iPhone 16 Pro Max could be the first with camera design
As you know, Apple is working on a renewed function key and a brand new capture button for the iPhone 16 series. However, innovations may not be limited to this. According to Digitalchatstation, iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 48MP 1/1.14″ Sony IMX903 customised main sensor with dual-layer transistor technology. Moreover, it is stated that this sensor will offer 14Bit ADC and DCG support.
It should be noted that this indicates better performance and a more professional experience in challenging lighting conditions. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo underlines the dual 48 MP sensor and 12 MP telephoto lens upgrade, which is a first for Apple. However, the iPhone 16 Pro is likely to retain the 15 mm tetra prism telephoto camera found on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The front of both phones will feature a 24MP 6P camera sensor.
In addition, some new information about Apple A18 was shared. The chipset is rumoured to have Qualcomm Snadpragon X75 modem. Thus, in addition to Wi-Fi 7 support, download speeds reaching 7.5 Gbps will be offered. Another upgrade is in the battery section. It is stated that 40W wired charging will become possible, especially with a graphene-based battery.
