With Apple's iOS 16 update, iPhone users can make the Lock Screen more customizable. The default setting is to keep the Lock Screen and Home Screen backgrounds the same, with the ability to change the clock font, style, widgets and weather wallpapers.
However, there are also custom options for those who want to use a different Home Screen wallpaper. So how to set different Home Screen and Lock Screen wallpapers on iPhones?
HOW TO SET HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN WALLPAPER DIFFERENTLY ON IPHONES?
Unlock your iPhone with Face ID or Touch ID.
Swipe to a previously customized wallpaper and tap "Customize".
Select the "Home Screen" option.
Customize the background by tapping the Color and Gradient buttons or select another image by tapping the Photos button. You can optionally blur the image.
If you have selected a new image, use the additional settings to preview filters, crop the image and apply the depth effect.
Tap "Done" in the top right corner.
Tap "Done" again on the editing screen to finish and save your selection.
It should be noted that you can customize your current Lock Screen and Home Screen selections at any time. For these customizations, you can long press from the Lock Screen to call up the gallery view, tap "Customize" to select the Lock Screen or Home Screen. Alternatively, you can organize wallpaper pairs by scrolling through and customizing the wallpapers in your gallery in Settings -> Wallpaper.
