It will be mini-LED and 120Hz
Famous analyst Ross Young recently stated that Apple is not working on a second-generation Studio Display, but Ming-Chi Kuo denied this claim and shared some details about the company's next-generation monitor.
According to information from Kuo, Apple's new generation 27-inch monitor will use mini-LED technology, and glass will be used instead of plastic on the rear panel of the device. Kuo also stated that with the company's use of glass on the back panel, the device will be thinner and have smaller bezels. The monitor, which will probably also feature 120Hz ProMotion, will go into mass production at the end of 2024 or early 2025, according to Kuo's claims. This means that the second-generation Studio Display will likely be available in 2025 .
