Having difficulty in reaching its goal with the A16 Bionic processor powering the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max , Apple can reverse this situation on the iPhone 15. Today, reliable leak source Ming-Chi Kuo shared some remarkable information about the performance and efficiency gains to be experienced in the A17 Bionic.
More resources will be allocated for the Apple A17 Bionic
The Apple A17 Bionic, which will power the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models, will be the first 3nm processor produced by TSMC. However, Kuo reported that "  small gains in the A16 and M2 series chips have adversely affected sales, and that's why Apple has allocated a large amount of resources to the A17 Bionic . "

Also, Kuo says that Apple  will stick to TSMC's 3nm manufacturing process until 2025  . Based on this, we can say that the A17 Bionic will be a new foundation for Apple. Thus, the models to be introduced in the sequel will appear with similar production technology and various upgrades.
If we recall, we recently learned that the A16 Bionic offers remarkable improvements and features such as ray tracing, but these innovations have been canceled at the last stage. The upcoming A17 Bionic, on the other hand, seems to have these features and significant performance upgrades that were shelved in the A16 Bionic, as well as improved power efficiency , which is one of the biggest advantages of 3nm technology.
