Watch Unlock feature on the way for Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5
As reported, in the One UI 5 Watch update for Galaxy Watch 4 and 5, a new line of code named ''com.google.android.clockwork.active_unlock'' was discovered for the Watch Unlock feature. This shows that the new feature will be available on the Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 series after Pixel devices . However, it should be noted that this leak has not yet been confirmed by Samsung. For this reason, an exact release date has not been specified.
For Watch Unlock, which was first introduced in January 2023, we can give an example of Apple's " Unlock with Apple Watch" system. Thus, users can easily unlock their phone lock screens via Wear OS 4 supported smart watches. However, it should be noted that both devices should not be more than one meter away and the clock should be unlocked .
