A customizable Action button offers instant access to a wide range of useful features. On Friday, the Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office granted (registered) Apple a whopping 25 Apple Watch Ultra design patents covering every aspect of the design in both CAD and line art forms.

Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.

Apple Watch Ultra Design Patents

Below are two sets of Apple Watch Ultra design patents that represent both CAD and Line Art Designs.

Overview of the 25 Design Patents

The two example sets of designs presented above represent full CAD and line art forms. Below are design patents representing partial designs. When Apple wants to protect a design, they first begin by filing for a full design. Then they file for additional design patents that cover key parts of the design. There could be one partial design patent covering the display while others cover the left or right side of a device that may illustrate buttons and so forth so as to ensure that competitors aren't able to copy any facet of the Apple Watch Ultra design without a patent infringement lawsuit.

All 25 Apple Watch Ultra design patents cover Locarno Classification 10-02 covering "Watches, Wrist and Smart Watches."
