Apple’s ambitious foray into mixed reality, the Apple Vision Pro, is expanding to two new countries on November 15. United Arab Emirates and South Korea will join the select list of regions where the device is available, announced Apple’s SVP of Worldwide Marketing, Greg Joswiak, in an X post. The Vision Pro, currently available in markets like the U.S., China, Japan, and parts of Europe, will now reach a dozen countries in total.

Despite its advanced spatial computing capabilities, which blend AR with VR for immersive experiences, the Vision Pro's high price and limited exclusive content have presented adoption challenges. Initial U.S. sales began in February, with broader international availability starting mid-year. As the Vision Pro aims to establish Apple’s presence in the mixed-reality space, a second, possibly more affordable version is rumored for release in 2026.

Those who purchase an Apple Vision Pro outside official release countries must change their device's region to access the App Store, where they can download apps optimized for this new platform.
