Apple has officially released a detailed list of over 250 new features and updates coming with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. Ahead of the anticipated software release on September 16, 2024, Apple published two comprehensive PDF documents outlining the upcoming features.
The documents include a wide range of updates, although some features will roll out in specific countries or regions, and others may only arrive in later updates, like iOS 18.1. The iPhone PDF, found on Apple’s "Yours. Truly." page, is a 9,000-word document that spans 22 pages, while the iPadOS 18 list is slightly shorter at 20 pages and 8,000 words. Both PDFs contain hundreds of new functionalities, making this one of Apple's biggest software releases to date.
