Apple has released two new promotional videos showcasing the latest features of Final Cut Pro for both iPad and Mac. These updates, launched in June, are now being highlighted on YouTube to demonstrate their capabilities.

Final Cut Pro for iPad version 2 introduces Live Multicam, allowing users to simultaneously record and edit from multiple cameras using the Final Cut Camera app. The update also includes support for external storage, essential for handling large video files and sources. Additionally, there are expanded transitions and effects to enhance editing flexibility.

On the Mac side, the update to Final Cut Pro 10.8 emphasizes AI-powered features. The Enhance Light and Color tool speeds up color correction, while Smooth Slo-Mo creates high-quality slow-motion effects. New features also include Object Tracker, Voice Isolation, and Smart Conform, which facilitates the creation of vertical content from horizontal projects. The update further includes Timeline Index for easier clip searching and improved text searching and color correction renaming.

Final Cut Pro for macOS is available as a one-time purchase for $299.99, whereas the iPad version is subscription-based, costing $4.99 per month or $49 per year.
