The post, via Macworld, claims that the iPhone 15 lineup is likely to adopt a more attractive pricing strategy, which would create a greater difference between the prices of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, and the high-end iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
In the current iPhone 14 series, the higher-priced iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are seeing stronger demand than the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which have widely been reported to have seen underwhelming sales performance, leading to manufacturing cuts and a stronger focus on producing the ‘Pro’ series.
According to the report, the new pricing strategy for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will help create a differentiation between the devices in the lineup “to the extent that the market can understand them,” the leaker claims.
The post doesn’t speculate on how low the iPhone 15 could be priced compared to the current-generation iPhone 14.
