Apple has withdrawn the feature it brought with iOS 16.2: Users can no longer access it

Offering a new feature to users with the iOS 16.2 update released in the past weeks, Apple has withdrawn the feature without any explanation.

Apple rolled out the iOS 16.2 update for iPhone users last week. One of the biggest updates released recently, 16.2 came with new features as well as bug fixes and improvements.

However, some users noticed that a feature that came with iOS 16.2 was quietly removed.

The Cupertino company announced that it has brought an upgrade for the core architecture in the HomeKit application with its new version.

However, iPhone users who want to upgrade to the new architecture stated that they were stuck while upgrading and the application did not respond.

Some iPhone users explained that the problem was solved by itself, while others announced that the application was closed or asked for a reinstallation. A week after the update, Apple quietly removed the iOS 16.2 architecture upgrade option from iPhone devices without explanation. This no longer allows iPhone users to upgrade after entering the HomeKit app.
