After more than a month of beta testing, the iOS 17.2 update has finally been rolled out to iPhone users. It brings minor enhancements to Apple applications along with the highly anticipated Journal app.
iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 include the new Journal app designed to allow Apple users to capture significant moments in their lives. The Journal app provides suggestions for diary entries, scheduled notifications, and the option to add photos, locations, and more. In iOS 17.2, users of the iPhone 15 Pro models can assign the Turn app to the Action button. The 15 Pro models can now create spatial video recordings that can be viewed in 3D on Apple Vision Pro glasses. The Messages app adds a new shortcut to jump to the first unread message in a conversation and the option to respond with stickers.
The update introduces the ability to access Health data with Siri, new Weather and Clock widgets, a playlist consisting of favorited tracks in Apple Music, and more.
