On Wednesday, users of Apple’s App Store and Mac App Store reported being unable to download apps, though they could still browse the platform. The issue seems to be affecting iPhone and Mac users sporadically, as confirmed by several reports, including from the AppleInsider team.

While the scope of the problem remains unclear, many frustrated users have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their experiences. As of now, Apple’s System Status page highlights ongoing outages affecting the Subscription Purchase and Volume Purchase Program, which began at 11 A.M. Eastern.

Other related issues were previously resolved on Tuesday night, involving services like App Store Connect, TestFlight, and App Processing, among others. There were also reported outages for Apple Podcasts Connect and Apple Music for Artists.

The Developer System Status page also showed various resolved outages affecting services including Xcode Cloud, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple School Manager.

As of now, Apple has yet to officially comment on the issue, but the situation continues to be monitored for any updates or fixes.
